Since there Akismet has protected my blog from about 1006 spam comments. Two or three spam comments Akismet didn’t match as spam. But this is not a big problem. I recommend to all bloggers to activate the Akismet plugin!

Many sites such as forums, downloads, blogs or other need a registration. If you don’t like to name your private e-mail address you can use a temporary random e-mail address from temporaryinbox.com It generates a random email address which you can use for the given form on any websites. After you’re registred on a site with this e-mail address you can read the registration e-mail at temporaryinbox.com. Only put your temporary e-mail address in the inputbox at top right and click the “Go” button.
This is a very very useful service for spam protection. I like it!
