SMS Messiah Beta Download
Now you can download the short message system client for Windows XP. It’s called SMS Messiah. With SMS Messiah you can send SMS over several service providers like Swisscom Mobile or Orange. The beta version will work for swiss service providers only. International functions comes with the release in a few months.

The requirements for SMS Messiah Beta are:
- Windows XP Service Pack 2 (Vista not tested)
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (In SMS Messiah Beta included)
- Microsoft Outlook 2003 (older or newer versions not tested)
- Internet connection
Short howto:
- Download SMS Messiah Beta
- Unpack the ZIP file
- Double click on setup.exe
- Follow the screen instructions
- Start SMS Messiah Beta (Start->Applications->katun.ch->SMS Messiah)
- Post the registration key as a comment with a valid e-mail address. You will get the licence file within 24 hours as e-mail.
- Save your licence file on the desktop
- In SMS Messiah click on “Open Licence File” and open it from your desktop. Now your application will be licenced.
- Now you can set up your login informations by clicking on the “Plugin Manager” button. Add or remove plugins by pressing “Add” or “Remove” button.
Important things:
- SMS Messiah will only run on one computer!
If you want a second licence, leave an other comment with the new registration key. - Leave your real name by adding a comment!
- Leave a valid e-mail address by adding a comment!

Preview of SMS Messiah
Today I have fixed a bug in my Short Message tool. The problem was a DataSet error for the access db for storing sent SMS. Now I will implement a trial mode to SMS Messiah and then you can download and test the alpha preview of SMS Messiah. Plugins for swiss gateways are available. For example a plugin for Swisscom Mobile – xtra-zone.ch or for Sunrise Switzerland.
The requirements for SMS Messiah are:
- Microsoft Outlook 2003
- Microsoft .Net 2.0 Framework
- Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2

Virtual Machines
I’m testing now SMS Messiah on several setups. I testet it on these configurations:
- Windows XP – SP2 – With Outlook 2003 (running)
- Windows XP – SP2 – With Outlook 2007 (partial running)
- Windows XP – SP2 – Without Outlook (not running)
I’d like to test it on Windows Vista, but I don’t have any license for it.
The system requirements for SMS Messiah:
- Windows XP with Service Pack 2
- Microsoft .Net 2.0 Framework
- Microsoft Outlook 2003 (in beta version)

Plugins for SMS Messiah
When the Public Beta of SMS Messiah starts, are minimum three plugins available.

SMS Messiah Preview
On my mac I’m using Luscious SMS to send short messages to my friends. But in my office I haven’t a mac. I have tested the SMS-Star but I was not happy with it. Therefore I’m developing a tool that is quite similarly to Luscious SMS. I call it SMS Messiah.
Features:
- Send SMS over several gateways (Plugins)
- Using Outlook contact list
- Save sent SMS in a list
- Internet connection validator
